๐ Intel for Steam: Indie Dev Toolkit
Know what your players are saying and what your rivals are doing: Steam review themes, review-bomb alerts to Discord and a daily competitor digest, for a one-time $19.
Intel for Steam is self-hosted Python source for indie Steam developers. It pulls your recent reviews and groups them into themes (performance, bugs, price, content length, controls, difficulty, story, art and audio, multiplayer, updates, monetization), with ๐/๐ counts, a "fix first" list and real quotes. It keeps review history in SQLite and pings your Discord when negative reviews spike above your normal baseline. Every day it posts a competitor digest with price and discount changes, review score shifts, player counts and new dev updates. It also turns bullets or git log output into Steam-ready BBCode patch notes. It uses Steam's public endpoints, so you don't need an API key.
Tested: themes, competitor data and review-bomb math against the real Steam APIs, live Discord webhook delivery (long messages split, no @everyone pings), and the Docker image, which was built and run. 46 unit tests. Beta: the optional AI summary (free local AI via Ollama, or any OpenAI-compatible API) was live-tested with qwen2.5:3b, but small models can miscount, so check the numbers against the table. Render and Railway configs are included but haven't been deployed in our QA. Keyword themes count mentions, not meaning. Sold separately; not part of the bundle.

Steam data: Some features use public, undocumented Steam store endpoints and page data, not the official Steam Web API. Valve may change or limit them at any time. Keep polling intervals reasonable; you are responsible for complying with Steam's terms.
